Do you have to be rich to have a financial advisor?
Updated: Dec 3, 2018
I often get asked “aren’t financial advisers just for people with a lot of money?”
My answer - No!
Just like a Doctor looks after your physical health, we take care of your financial health. And just like Doctors and medical treatment, financial planners and financial plans vary. Some financial strategies can be quite complex and time consuming, and may even need a ‘specialist’. And other strategies not so much. Some people may need a very comprehensive financial plan, whereas other people may just need help with saving money or superannuation initially. Everyone’s financial situation is different, and we tailor your financial plan to you and your needs.
At Genki Finance we have different packages for different situations, ranging from basic to very comprehensive. Once we have an idea of your situation and the areas you need help, we can discuss the different packages and how they can fit to your circumstances.
And in terms of the common mis-conception that financial advisers only help people with a lot of money – financial planning is about more than just investing. To be honest, I don’t often get asked “I’ve got some money to invest and I don’t know what to do with it”. However I do often get asked “I need help getting my finances organised” – that is by far the most common reason why people ask to talk to me.
So, do you need help getting your finances organised?
